Lost Herald Sun sales yesterday

The distribution newsagent did not provide the royal wedding insert for the Herald Sun yesterday. Time was wasted chasing. Customers were frustrated, and bought their Herald Sun from supermarkets in the same centre. They don’t have their newspaper supply meddled with by a petty minded distribution newsagent.

It is experiences like this that move one closer to quitting papers from the business.

    Hi Mark
there could have been many reasons why they were not delivered (short delivered or theft )
What is your answer for distribution?

    Hi, Mark.

We have the same experience yesterday. We noticed the missing Wedding magazine in early morning.

Get some copies from nearby newsagent in at 8:30AM.

When News Ltd rep visited us at 10 AM, he is happy to see the Wedding magazine on display.

The distribution prepared some Wedding magazines, picked them up on 4 PM.

I think that one of the solutions is that your store manager can borrow or buy some wedding magazines from the majors or other newsagents in the same center, take care some customers (who are the most royal customers for our business), then later get the back up from News Ltd or your distribution.

Sunny, this distribution agent has a track record of misbehaviour. We would not have to go and buy to cover their failure.

Andrew, get out. It is only heading in one direction.
