This decision to offer a popular magazine title for sale in supermarkets a week ahead of newsagent release does not make sense.
I only know about it because newsagents have pointed it out to me today.
I’d encourage those in charge to reconsider for future issues.

Probably not. It turns out that the Bauer folks were misinformed by someone on the distribution side about what newsagents can and cannot handle re multiple issues of a title available at the same time. Regardless, this should not have happened as it plays into guiding shoppers to supermarkets.
