We have a good range of overseas food magazines. All are selling well. Take easy cook magazine from the UK – we receive four copies and average sales of three each issue. This is a good result by any measure. I like the overseas food titles because their content offers a point of difference over Australian titles.
While in terms of overall sales volume the overseas titles account for less than 10% of total food magazine sales, carrying them makes us more of a specialist destination for food titles over other retailers selling magazines.
Yes, Easy Cooking is a good title for us and we sell a similar number to you. I guess I a small village we have a very different catchment to your business. Good Food is the best foodies mag that we have and continues to be on of our top 10 magazine performers.

Steve, Good Food is volatile for us in sales. I suspect this is in part due to them bagging most recent issues. Food lovers want to browse the recipes before they buy.
