We are seeing stronger than usual sales for syndicates in the scheduled lottery superdraws with the July promotion. Our feeling is that this is due to the recent OzLotto jackpots. Oz brought new customers to the syndicate products and some have stuck. It has been easy to offer a superdraw syndicate when they come in to check their Oz syndicate.
We currently do our syndicates offline – meaning that synidcate sales were not affected by the Tattersalls network outage last Tuesday.
What do yo mean when you say you currently do your syndicates offline
We buy packages of tickets for each Syndicate and then sell these without using the tattersalls terminal.
Im still a little confused Mark,how can you sell a tatts syndicate if you dont use the tatts terminal and where do you buy or get your packages of tickets from that you mention
Helen, when we create the syndicate we buy the tickets for the syndicate. The selling of the shares is the bit which is not done through the terminal. This will all change shortly with all syndicates only being sold through the terminals.
