Vale Gary Angus

I was saddened to hear this morning of the death of Gary Angus of newsXpress Pall Mall.   Losing any newsagent is sad, losing someone at their workplace is even more so.

Gary was a genuine character in the newsagency channel as well as in Bendigo, a loveable larrakin some might say.  He was a great supporter of our channel and key suppliers.   Gary will be sadly missed.

    Gary Angus.
    One of the greatest, down to earth, true blue, top blokes i have ever met.
    Gary was always ready for a laugh. He was also one of very few people that i can honestly say that i never heard speak ill of anybody else.
    From the instant that my wife Stella and I met Gary we were life long friends……gonna miss sharing a Veges and Beef with him. Our thoughts are with Jenny and Family.

    Such a tragedy, our thoughts are with Gary’s family at this terrible time. Families like Gary’s are what our country Australia is made of, and worth protecting. Such sad sad news.

    I never met Gary, but to lose a friend as some of you here have, is a very sad situation particularly given the circumstances.
    He was obviously a well liked and much respected character in the industry and he will certainly be mourned and missed for a long time to come.
    Thoughts are with his family and his many friends.
    RIP

    Gary we crossed paths at Tatts meetings and in our own shop. You were always happy to answer any questions and always willing to help. We will miss our chats about your adventures. You worked hard and loved your family most.

    Gary Angus;
    You were a treasure to all that knew you; you never spoke ill of anyone and always brought the best out of all of us.
    Your infectious laugh and lovable smile will be sadly missed. The world is a much sadder place without you in it.
    My thoughts are with anyone that knew Gary, as he touched many in only the way that Gary can; but most of all my thoughts are with Jenny and her family.
    RIP Gary
