Government moves job ads from print to online

The federal government has announced that it will move recruitment advertising from print to online, recognising that online is the preferred medium for employment advertising.

    Interesting that the DOD has been excluded. It seems there would be significant opportunity to achieve further savings in the government department with the largest (arguably bloated) budget.

    Anecdotally they appear to use print advertising for recruitment on a very large scale.
