Herald Sun production delays

Due to production problems, trucks carrying the Herald Sun were at least two hours late this morning. News has done an excellent job informing people.

I assume your comment was sarcastic.

We had no information that the papers were 3 hours late, they just didn’t turn up and no-one answered the phone when we rang.

Dean wasn’t mean to be. I received a notice (email sent at 5:34am) and assumed others did too.

5.34am is too late to notify us when our 1st drop is due at 2.30am and the 2nd drop 3.30am, and our staff start at 2.30am.

I did get a text message at 6am saying they were 1 hour late. The 1st drop actually arrived at 4.30am, the 2nd drop at 6.30am, so the text was pointless by the time we got it.

    Mark/Dean,

In Adelaide we have Printline a voice messaging service from the Print Centre.

Is it perfect NO but usually gives a good indication.
