Explaining the move to cashless

I was in a coffee shop that had recently switched to cashless. I like how the framed the move in this poster on the wall behind the counter:

No, I am not saying these reasons all work in a newsagency. Security and speed for sure do work. If I was going cashless, I think I;d use a sign like this as it is simple and cuts through.

Cashless is a definite Federal Government Policy. All transactions are recorded and hence check able. Further all costs will be born by the Retailer. A Great Boon for National Security. We must keep Australia safe and respectful no matter what.

I know many cafes, who boasted of not surcharging for card payments going bankrupt and closed in months. There might be many reasons like high rent, low sales, competition etc. but when things are tough every small thing matters.

Jason, one big reason I can think of straight up is every lotto customer who wins a prize of any kind wants it in cash. Even when they pay for their tickets on eftpos they still want their winnings in cash.
