I am pleased that magazine distributor NDD moves to weekly magazine returns next week. Besides the cash-flow benefits, there is the opportunity to better manage floor stock. Some newsagents will take the opportunity to increase the range and try more titles. I am looking at this for one of my newsagencies where I see an opportunity in several special interest areas.
Must have missed that notice, when and how did they inform us?
we have got an email starts 19th april also on web site i think it is a great idea less time each week than spending ages once a month

just recieved tomorrows files and they are still strating monthly as well as the return file is stating monthly does anyone know if this is going to change ?i would have thought it would have rolled out properly
IT IS ALL RUBISH ABOUT NDD GOING WEEKLY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY INFO ON THE CHANGE AND ONLY FOUND OUT TODAY WHEN LOOKING FOR AIR EXPRESS TITLES! I HAVE ALREADY GOT MY MONTHLY READY AND WAITING TO RETURN .SO I RANG THEM AS OF YESTERDAY 19/04/10 THE WEEKLY MAGS ARE TO BE RETURNED.SO WHAT DO WE DO WITH ALL MAGS BOXED AND READY TO GO! THERE RESPONSE WAS TO ME, RETURN ON LINE WHAT IS DUE FOR THIS WEEK AND TO CARRY ON WITH WEEKLY RETURNS EVEN IF YOU HAVE SENT THEM BACK EARLY, ACCCORDING TO THERE NEW RETURN SYSTEM! CONFUSED SO AM I!HOWEVER I WILL SEND BACK AS MANY MAGS THAT I KNOW I WILL NOT SELL IN MY AREA! REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY THINK THEY CAN SEND AND CHARGE ME! I ADVISE ANYONE LISTENING NOT ONLY SEND BACK THE EXCESS THAT WE ARE NOW GOING TO RECIEVE, BUT ALSO TO SPEND AN HOUR TO TAKE CHARGE YOUR ORDERS AND GO ON LINE AND SPECIFY YOUR ORDER! Can anyone tell me if the files should be arriving as weekly returns or are they still arriving monthly becasue all my stickers are still coming out with monthly returns dates or is it something i need to fix up on my end
My stickers are the same. We’re just printing off the weekly return sheet and going by that. Seems to be working.
Anyone else get the email – NDD to wind down ( close ) ??
