I’m thrilled with the Maped Back to School range. It’s a mix of stationery ideal for the start of the school year but packaged in a more appealing way than traditional Back to School items.
What I especially like is that we are an authorised stockist for the Maped brand. This gives us better pricing as well as advertising support – making us competitive with the other authorised stockists Officeworks and Woolworths.
Regulars here would know that I prefer to stock brands rather than generic unbranded or meaningless brand products. The advertising support for the Maped brand is vital to not only its success but also my success and an authorised stockist.
We have the Maped range at the front of the newsagency, facing into the shopping all. It is selling very well and drawing good traffic. Our plan is to maintain and even expand the range as an all year round range.
We had a maped stand a few years back now. Some products went well, but others stayed for a while before selling out. My kids like the croc sharpener.
That’s great, I’ve been impressed by the maped brand for years. For our store, we don’t significantly deal withed maped, rather we’ve been happier with Stabilo and Helix, the products may not be out of this world, but they are solid brand we trust. And it’s this trust that has made us stand out in the market, our customers appreciate that we mainly stock quality NZ, Australian and German made products.
Mark, you’re doing a great job at promoting Maped products in your store, keep it up.
Mal I love your support of quality products. Staying away fro cheap China products can give us an excellent point of difference. Customers love the quality.
Always looking for something different we have enjoyed good Maped sales for BTS for a few years now.
We ordered the display and stock in September at the GNS Fair.
Only the HOOKS for the display arrived finally on Tuesday.
School had started on Monday!!
