    Mark,

Wonderful numbers, but do they really mean anything?

This year we sponsored several prizes at the Royal Adelaide Show, our name (Portside Newsagency) was seem by (based on the Royal Show visitors to section audit) – Cookery Section 87,000 views.

Technology (Digital Printing), we sponsored “Best in Show” – Digital Printed article – to vote visitors needed to scan a QR code, both in it and at the top of the QR was our name. Total scans 38,790.

We don’t have a Retail outlet.

Imagine the exposure if these number’s could be leveraged back to a “bricks & mortar” store or Marketing Group.

I suspect no one reading this (or Newsagent Marketing Group) would have this name exposure for less than $1,000.

Why do we this? Well we make a few dollars from Magazines and its our way to recognize people make the cakes (or digital printed items) who buy magazines and hopefully encourage others to buy magazines for further ideas.

Do the prize winners buy from one of our Subagents? Probably not, but hopefully some make the connection

    – Cakes (or Digital Printing) – Newsagency – Magazines.

We are expanding our range of prizes in different categories for the 2018 Show, for greater name recognition.

John, I can reach 100,000+ for $100. Included in that spend can be 2,500, sometimes more, thoughtful engagement with the brand. From each one of those spends I see real purchases, enabling tracking of revenue for the business, from people I’d usually have no contact with.
