Selling for the heat

It was hot in Melbourne yesterday – we placed a water canon product we acquired at the front of the store facing into the mall. We sold six.  The canons drew passers-by to the shop. These are six transactions we would not have achieved had we not seized the opportunity of the heat. Some bought the canon and others bought something else as well.

    LOL
I was in Melb yesterday relocating my dau and her bestie came to help. The car overheated entering the city and we blew a headgasket. We had to use public transport and walk more than planned for.
RACV were great, got the car to a place where it cn be picked up later in the week.
Kudoes to the Yarraville train line who had extra staff at lots of transport stops to advise (trains not running). Special thanks to the bus driver who did not charge three of us to ride a few blocks to the train station, kudoes to the advice persons at Southern Cross for platform help, and thanks for the lady who made me a huge salad box that I could take on the train home with extra napkins and cutlery but still only $9.50.
I looked out for and got a LOT of great customer service yesterday. A whole lot of services stepped up, and I really needed help. I am reminded that sometimes going the extra mile for someone may NOT earn another dollar, but it WILL get return business in the long run.
I am home safe and my dau is in her new rental share with bed and treadmill, and was SO excited to get cleaning it last night
    – double LOL
YES, it was hot in Melb yesterday, I have sunburnt forehead to prove it !
