Promoting Cleo and the tote bag

fhn_cleo_may09.JPGWe have Cleo at our prime counter position this week because of the free tote bag.  While we are over tote bags as gifts with magaznes, this one, from Kookai, looks good on the display.  ACP has provided useful marketing collateral.  Hopefully, this will result in good sales.

In this same counter position on the weekend we sold out of Who magazine.  A week earlier we sold 60% of our allocation of Weight Watchers Magazine.

This counter location works, it drives impulse purchases – the key appears to be the value of the offer.

    Congrats!

It would have been good to have got Cleo today.

    And Time Magazine last Monday.

And our own NWs last Monday, rather than someone else’s, who wanted them back!
And a delivery docket with them, rather than having to do some sleuthing of our own to find the rightful owners.

And for their online allocation page to have been up to date last week.

And to have means to return stock online, but they had us down for ‘0’ for one title.

And for them to respond to the email about most of the above, written a week ago.

And for them to acknowledge today’s follow-up email.

Oh well. We’ve got something completely different as our Mag of the Week as a result.

    Y&G,

I suspect only 50% of the readers know what that means and of that 50% 100% do not mind, IMHO.

    Ok.
I think what Shaun said was extremely funny. Almost verbatim, too?

    Thanks, Brett
