I’d worked with a bloke on a Council in SA, nearly 15 years ago, who spotted one of these mag’s in the cab of the truck. He recogonised the woman on the front cover. An old flame.. sure enough, he described every marking/cartoon/tattoo, after making me find her within the mag.

He eventually brought photos from home later, to show the other bloke’s, for proof. You see, his thing was, after being questioned about the relationship… if she was your girlfriend, at the time, why didn’t you talk her out of the soft porno stuff.

Thing was, he couldn’t. He tried. It was her field, she wasn’t a whore, it was expressive to her, he lost her in the end since, he couldn’t wrap his head around the whole issue, of what some women do.

It’s now modern to hate. Just pick your target. The mag isn’t the problem, they’ve been around for years, it’s more like a take down, for the sake of having something to, just say, something.

John I agree. I have had customers say they will boycott my newsagency because I have this or that magazine. If the magazine is legal I never give into their threat as that world, where we pander to every view is not a good place.
