Better bugs for loyal customers

fhn_choosing_bugs.JPGPutaway customers get bigger and better bugs with their real Life Bugs magazines in our newsagencies.  When setting aside put away product, we choose the best looking bugs for our putaway customers.  Click on the image for a larger version and see for yourself.  The bug on the left is better, it is for a putaway customer, as the label shows.  We do this because customers compare bugs when buying this series.  Once we realised this, it was an obvious decision to make the selections when we do our early morning allocations.

Putaway customers are among the most efficient in a newsagency.  Our data shows they are 33% more likely to purchase other product than a regular magazine customer.

Pity that Network cuts back on the Real Bugs partworks because of not having sufficient stock. We have always had 6 copies putaway for customers since inception and the last three issues, we have been getting 5. I have mention this to Network twice to increase my supply to 6 but they cannot guarantee. Now I have a very disappointed customer that has to wait for back issues up to 6 weeks

Bario yes i have had the complaints a customer told me yesterday that he sent them an email about the missing lables and they said they would send them ,so maybe that is the only way to get them .

manni this is also happening for us but then you get other agents that still get extras eg i just received back orders for #14 and they had lables from other shops still on them so someone is getting extras

That’s the problem with this magazine, the quality of the insect speciemens are atrocious! It seems there is no quailty control on them at all. Having looked at almost all the bugs in the series so far, I would say that only 1 in every 5 is actually fit for sale!

Customers want bugs that look good and are ‘perfectly’ presevered, as the magazine advertises. (which by the way is massive false advertising on their part!)No wonder newsagencies are getting stuck with copies of this magazine they can’t sell, because the bugs that come with it are crummy.

    Hi Aaron,

The silver/white coating you seen on alot of the insects is trapped air on their surface. It looks worse or better depending on the light in which you look at it. If the insects are prepared properly they shouldn’t have this present.

“If the insects are prepared properly…”

I’m just waiting for it to fully turn silver, then crack it open and unleash into the world.

If you somehow manage to keep the whole bugs collection in future, they’d all be so shiny.
