One supposes they pay a distributor to get it into all the coffee shops and tube newstands, or do they pay folk to hand them out at busy times at the museums and at peak hour etc? Will the supermarkets also donate their space to free product like this also? And other shops that trade for profit? Or only the venues that advertise in the publication.
It will be interesting to watch what happens.

Yep. This is another challenge for retail. With the cover price barely covering the cost of the traditional route to market it could be that a free model in more outlets where the giveaway adds vale for the retailer is more interesting.
