Intralot sales bounce thanks to advertising and changes

The changes to the Intralot Keno game, associated promotion and the promotion of instant scratch tickets are driving sales.  Comparing the last three weeks to the same three weeks a year ago is showing tremendous growth.  I hope this continues, especially for the scratch ticket product.

Oh yeh…i nearly forgot …intralot! what a great integrous company they are
Heres another intralot joke…and if not illegal certainly misleading as its not in any games literature or games rules…try playing 1 2 3 in lucky 3 tonight…you cant!! get this.. it wins too much or might win too much apparently!!!
so once a certain amount are played each day they stop it from being sold….never heard anything more ridiculous ever in lottery sales anywhere in the world before…they are absolute snakeoil salesman

Helen, just tried myself, then rang Intralot, told computer capped at 200 games per combo. Not in rules but will be. Rang LAAV they are now looking in to it. Seems stange to me, good way to loose cusktomers

FYI – Tattersall’s had an identical liability in place for their old Tatts 2 game and this was reached several times a week on certain combinations.

Tatts 2 was a pooled game,if there was 100 winners it was just divided by 100,exactly the way lottery games are supposed to be

Believe me i’m no fan of Intralot but i can categorically vouch for what Bob is saying about the same thing happening with tatts 2. We had a regular customer who pooled money together with 4 other work mates every day playing tatts 2 spending )well over $100 each day in sales) and for reasons only known to them, as well as having other combinations they’d also have the numbers 13 and 31 dozens of times each day.

This went on for months until one day it wouldn’t allow me to have the 13 and 31 combination. I let her know and she said “One of my girlfriends must have already put them on today somewhere else” I asked her what she meant and she explained that there were only a certain amount of each combination allowed to be put on each day and after that you couldn’t. I must admit i wasn’t too sure what to believe as i’d never heard of anything like that before so when she left the shop i called customer support to ask them, sure enough Tatts told me that is indeed the case.

Given the vast amount of combinations that tatts 2 had you’d have to say it was a rarity of it happening unless under similar circumstances to what i just explained but the same system was certainly in place. It happened with the same lady once more after that but if i must admit if i hadn’t have come across it back then i’d have been none the wiser today. I’m sure if anyone asks their retail territory manager (if they were around back then) they’d confirm it to be the case.

i can confirm Bob and Stephs’ experience with Tatts 2.

Do people believe that Intralot is bouncing back? – true there is slightly more interest in Keno since the change but all the other games are stinkas for us.

Any reason why you haven’t made a post today about the current Intralot article in the paper today Mark? Given the government have reportedly spent hundreds of thousands on a bail out plan so to speak.

Whether anything comes of it or not, given the outcome could have big rammifications on many of us i’d be interested to hear what other agents have to say and what they think about it. I’m surprised you haven’t posted a subject on it as yet.

Instead of paying intralot to hand them back their dodgy product licence licence i would gladly pay it into a fighting fund for the goovermment to manage on my behalf to get rid of these incompetent fools who have irrepairably seriously damaged my business and its value ..if all 700 intralot outlets pooled their $2000 licence break fee that would give the govt a nice old fighting fund to rid us of these idiots and return some stability and profitability to our businesses

Sounds like a good idea Helen.
Could anyone tell me why INTRALOT are having another Luck Card Promotion?
It would make more sense to promote the games, of which I sell about 15 (yes fifteen) tickets a week instead of a product that I have sold ONE of.
