Tactical placement pays off for My Kitchen Rules

knoxmkr.JPGOur tactical placement of the counter unit for My Kitchen Rules The Cookbook worked a treat on the weekend.  While we had a display facing out into the mall, it was this unit placed between our two main newspapers which worked best for us.  A $12.95 impulse purchase with a newspaper purchase is very nice.  Thankfully, we have more stock coming in today.  Our plan for this week is to run a promotion behind the counter in the run up to Easter, replacing the Royal Wedding title which has had a good run in this prime location.  We will also have stock located with our women’s weeklies.

The reason we are committing so much space and time to the title is the promotional work by the Seven Network supporting the title.

    Hi Mark,

We received our additional 50 for MKR yesterday, and then started the phone around of the 30 odd putaways we had (all of whom came in on Friday to collect, when we only received 4)…

Unfortunately, the vast majority went to the ‘main’ shopping centre on Friday and Saturday and collected from there (who ad an abundant supply)…

With Easter comming and our tourist trade picking up, hopefully we can get rid of, however we have been made to look stupid with our regulars…

    Cheers

    Peter

We rec’d 21 MKR and have sold ONE copy, despite it being o the largest stand in three spots with posters! This is what I expected, have sold nil MasterChef since Jan
and April Delicious is going very well. Also sold 6 out of 6 of the new AWW Little Squares and Slices, have reordered. Clearly not all shops are the same !
